Public data without the scavenger hunt

The US government publishes an enormous amount of labor market data, and finding any of it means a scavenger hunt across a dozen agency websites, each with its own interface and its own opinions about CSV files. I built the Explorer to fix that for my own research, then open-sourced it.

It covers 80+ sources: FRED macro series, BLS employment and wages, Census demographics, O*NET occupation profiles, weekly UI claims, and SEC workforce filings. Free, no login, no tracking.

I also run a public Workforce Data MCP server with live access to the same sources. It's how my own research assistants pull current numbers instead of confidently citing stale ones, and you're welcome to use it: point Claude or any MCP client athttps://workforcemcp.beaconturn.com/mcp and the tools show up.
